You are still shy of “full term” which is 39 weeks, but baby may decide to show up any day now. Braxton Hicks, false or warm up contractions, can make this time confusing and frustrating.
The big difference is the consistency of the contractions. Don’t get it wrong, Braxton Hicks can be intense, but it’s the real deal when the contractions are consistent and closer and closer together.
Baby may be seeing red! Baby isn’t mad, just now able to process the color red as that cone has developed. Baby sees red because that is the color of the inside of your uterus.
