With 8 weeks to go baby is packing on the pounds, well half pounds. From now until birth baby will put on about a third of its total weight, adding about a half pound each week. And with all these layers of fat baby’s skin has gone from translucent to opaque. Cute!
Baby’s eyes can now focus on large things that are quite close. Anything outside baby’s field of vision will be a big blur until several weeks after birth. It won’t matter anyway since baby will only have eyes for you mama!
